    Chandler Chamber event to focus on Grand Canyon U.

    A Wednesday, Oct. 23 Chandler Chamber of Commerce event will focus on Grand Canyon University programs new to the East Valley.

    Brian Mueller, the president of the university, will be one of the featured speakers at the Chamber Education Forum, set to run from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at SoHo63, 63 E. Boston Street in Downtown Chandler.

    He'll talk about Chandler’s newest brick-and-mortar college campus. Mueller will go into GCU’s new programs and degree options that could benefit the East Valley business community.

    Mueller has overseen the recent creation of two key workforce development programs: a nursing collaboration between GCU and Banner Health, and also a construction collaboration involving Rosendin Electric and Nox Group.

    Representatives from each program and select student participants will provide those in attendance with a comprehensive look at the future of education in the Valley.

    Other scheduled speakers include Mike Greenawalt, CEO of Rosendin Electric, and J.P. Jaramillo, vice president of talent acquisition for Nox Group.
