SD Department of Corrections announces offender death
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - State prison offender Robert Goulding died on Wednesday, according to the South Dakota Department of Corrections. The 67-year-old passed away at the Mike Durfee State Prison in Springfield on July 24. Goulding was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder from Pennington County.

Slayton man hurt in work-related accident in Meeker County
(Hutchinson MN-) On July 25, 2024, at 6:45 p.m., the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a man who was injured on a job site. Meeker County Deputies, Hutchinson Fire & Rescue, Alina Ambulance and Lifelink III responded to the scene in the 67000 block of CSAH 18 in Ellsworth Township. Deputies learned Peter Mollema, 37, of Slayton, MN was conducting fiber optic work, when he fell into a pit, landing on a grounding rod, which impaled his leg. Mollema was flown by LifeLink III from the scene to Saint Cloud Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

CARBON COUNTY, Mont. (FOX 9) - The body of the missing Minnesota college student and hiker was recovered from a river in Montana on Wednesday. According to officials, the body of Dylan Honnoll was recovered from a river in the Beartooth Mountains, northwest of Red Lodge, Montana. Honnoll's body was found under fast-moving water.
