$50K-winning Powerball ticket sold at Portage Kwik Trip

PORTAGE, Wis. -- A winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Portage on Wednesday, Wisconsin Lottery officials said.

The ticket was sold the Kwik Trip at 1223 East Washington Steet. The ticket matched four of the winning numbers (15-18-19-41-43) as well as the Powerball (14).

The is the seventh time in the last seven years that a winning lottery ticket of $25,000 or more has been sold at this Kwik Trip, and the second time ever that a $50,000 ticket has been sold there.

Lottery officials said this is the fourth ticket to net the winner $50,000 or more in Wisconsin in the last 12 days. The odds of winning a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130 and the odds of winning the jackpot are 1:292,201,338.
