    Merrimac Ferry to close Wednesday and Thursday

    MADISON, Wis. -- Resurfacing work on the south landing of the Merrimac Ferry will lead to its closure for part of this week.

    According to WisDOT, the ferry will be closed Wednesday, May 15, and Thursday, May 16.

    Crews are set to resurface the south landing leading to the ferry. It is part of the WIS 113 project between Lodi and Okee in Columbia County.

    Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
