MADISON, Wis. -- Public Health Madison is asking for information about a dog who bit a person Saturday at a Goodwill on Verona Road in Madison.

Public Health officials say the bite occurred when a shopper set their unleashed dog down on the ground inside the store, in the shoe area, and the dog approached the victim and sniffed their feet. The victim bent down to pet the dog when it bit their hand.

The dog is described as a short-haired Chihuahua wearing a pink T-shirt. The person with the dog is described as an adult Hispanic female wearing a pink hat.

Public Health asks anyone with information about this incident to call the Police and Fire Dispatcher at (608)255-2345 and ask for an animal services officer.

And why is the dog in the store. Find the person and charge her. These people bring these dogs in better have a state tage on it saying service or emotional.
