BARABOO, Wis. -- Deputies in Sauk County arrested a man Tuesday as part of a wider investigation into suspected sales of cocaine and other drugs.

Sauk County Sheriff Chip Meister said deputies searched a home in the Town of Fairfield, a commercial property in the City of Baraboo and a storage building in the Town of Baraboo as part of the investigation.

Meister said deputies seized drugs, guns and other evidence during the searches. A 37-year-old Baraboo man was arrested and faces multiple charges including possession with intent to deliver cocaine and money laundering.

The investigation is ongoing and Meister said further charges are possible. Multiple federal, state and local law enforcement agencies are assisting in the investigation including the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation.
