Portion of N. Lake Street to be reduced to one lane Monday

MADISON, Wis. -- Motorists who take this area of N. Lake Street will see their route altered on Monday.

The area of N. Lake Street from University Avenue to Langdon Street will be reduced to one southbound lane to facilitate their sanitary sewer replacement project.

Vehicles wanting to traveling northbound on Lake Street from University Avenue will need to follow posted alternative route signage suggesting the use of Park Street to Langdon Street.

This lane closure will last until the end of the project which is anticipated to conclude Aug 30.

Additionally, the construction work occurring on N. Lake Street between Johnson Street and University Avenue, has been completed with two-way traffic restored in the area.
