Cool and quiet weather continues, but warming up this weekend - Jacob

WHAT WE'RE TRACKING :

• Quiet weather for much of the week
• Below normal during work week
• Warming back up for the weekend

PLANNING THE NE X T 24 HOURS: Tonight temperatures will once again be cool, falling into the lower 50s, some areas across southern Wisconsin will fall into the 40s. Wednesday will almost be a rinse and repeat of Tuesday with highs in the middle 70s and partly sunny skies.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : Through the next few days, temperatures will be below normal, but they'll warm up towards the end of the week and especially the weekend. High pressure will be dominate most of the week keeping skies mostly clear and dry. The high pressure system will track southeast of Wisconsin by Thursday, which will turn the winds out of the south and quickly warm the area up. Temperatures climb near the 80 degree mark Friday and climb further into the mid to upper 80s by Saturday and Sunday, continuing into Monday and Tuesday as well. A few areas could hit 90, though the best chance is further west and south. Temperatures look to slowly fall throughout next week (70s return by next Thursday/Friday), with mostly dry conditions continuing as well.
