PLANNING THE NE X T 2 4 HO URS: Temperatures tonight will be chilly with lows dropping all the way down to near 40. Wednesday afternoon will once again be breezy and sunny, but temperatures will rise to around 70.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : Highs will likely stay in the lower 70s for the most part through the weekend. There's a small chance for rain showers along the Wisconsin/Illinois state line late Thursday night into Friday as a warm front lifts northwards. Other than that, we're expecting dry conditions for the rest of the 10-day forecast and the drier than normal pattern will likely stick around for most of the first half of October. Despite this, it's worth noting that Wisconsin has been experiencing one of its wettest January through August's on record .
