Milwaukee Bucks statewide tour to hit Dane County

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Milwaukee Bucks announced Wednesday it will visit cities across Wisconsin as part of the Deer Crossing Statewide Tour, two of which will be Fitchburg and Stoughton.

The Bucks said the Deer Crossing Statewide Tour will feature "Back to School Bashes," "Bucks Bar Network" visits, "Bango’s Kids Club" visits and two "Bucks Takeover Nights," in partnership with local baseball teams. The Back to School Bashes will include youth basketball clinics with appearances by Bucks alumni T.J. Ford and Steve Novak, performances by Bucks Entertainment, dinner and giveaways. Bucks Bar Network visits will feature Bucks-themed trivia and prizes.

On Thursday, Aug. 22, the Bucks said the tour will make a stop in Dane County to Fitchburg and Stoughton. Fitchburg's Boys & Girls' Club of Dane County will host a Back to School Bash at 4:00 p.m., while Stoughton's Deak's Pub & Grill will host a Bucks Bar Network visit at 6:30 p.m.

The Bucks said the tour will also make stops in Oconomowoc, La Crosse, West Salem, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Menasha, Appleton, Sheboygan, and Sheboygan Falls.

All events are open to the public, except for the Back to School Bashes, which will be closed to the public but open to the media. Dates open to the public are available at www.Bucks.com/DeerCrossing .
