Dangerous heat expected Monday and Tuesday, excessive heat warnings issued - Blaise

WHAT WE'RE TRACKING :

• ALERT DAYS: Monday and Tuesday for dangerous heat
• Evening severe chances Monday and Tuesday
• Cooler for Labor Day

PLANNING THE NE X T 24 HOURS: Weather conditions are expected to remain quiet throughout the rest of Sunday evening, overnight and most of Monday due to the hot temperatures.  Temperatures dip only into the low to mid 70s Sunday night then climb into the low to mid 90s on Monday with heat index values ranging between 100-110°F. An excessive heat warning will be in effect, along with heat advisories, starting 1pm Monday through 8pm.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : The dangerous heat continues in Tuesday and heat related alerts will likely be extended into Tuesday. While a few storms may be possible Monday night, there's a better chance for severe weather across parts of southern Wisconsin beginning Tuesday evening. The cold front passes and cools temperatures back into the 80s starting Wednesday. 70s return by Labor Day Weekend.
