MPD: Pedestrian in critical condition after crash

UPDATE: Madison police said the driver of the crash remained on scene.

The victim, a woman in her 20s remains in critical condition.

The road is cleared for open traffic.

PREVIOUS COVERAGE -- One pedestrian was taken to the hospital after a crash on the city's south side.

Madison Police said the incident occurred in the area of W. Olin Avenue and S. Park Street.

W. Olin is shut down between S. Park Street and Lowell Street.

Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
