PLANNING THE NE X T 2 4 HO URS: A cold front is going to swing through Wisconsin later Saturday evening and bring those further north the best chance for an isolated shower and/or thunderstorm. Those further south will likely skip out on any rain Saturday evening. Clouds clear quickly leaving windy and sunny conditions for Sunday.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : The prolonged dry pattern continues to impact southern Wisconsin with little to no rain chances over the next seven to ten days; the first chance for rain may return by the following Sunday. Until then, we remain cooler to start off our next work week but our temperatures will steadily climb back into the upper 70s to low 80s by next Friday. Leaf colors continue to change, especially further northeast where lack of rain has caused severe drought conditions to develop.
