PLANNING THE NE X T 2 4 HO URS: Today will be sunny, breezy, and unseasonably warm with high temperatures approaching 80 degrees. A cold front early tonight will bring the strongest winds to our area, with gusts possibly approaching 35 to 40 mph as it moves through. The cold front will also bring a small chance for showers and storms, especially for areas north and east of Madison, mainly during the 8 pm to 2 am timeframe.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : The cold front early tonight will bring cooler temperatures for Sunday with highs in the middle 60s. We also will continue to be breezy with wind gusts up to 30 mph. After a seasonably cool Monday, we are expecting dry and mild conditions for much of next week. The next chance of rain is with another cold front late next weekend.
