Man who went missing from residential care facility has been found

UPDATE: Madison police reported Edward has returned home.

MADISON, Wis. -- Madison police are asking for assistance in locating a man who went missing Thursday night from a residential care facility.

MPD said Edward Washington was last seen in the 5500 block of Burke Rd. Staff reported he left the facility to get his scooter's battery serviced and never returned.

Officers checked the area and have not located him at this time.
