One person dead in Marquette County structure fire

HARRIS, Wis. -- A woman was found dead following a structure fire Saturday night.

According to the Marquette County Sheriff's Office, the Marquette County Dispatch Center was contacted about a fire in the Town of Harris around 6 p.m. Saturday.

The fire started in a garage which traveled to the house. Medical examiners found one person dead. She was identified as Rebecca Louise Otto, 75, of Montello.

The Harris Fire Department was assisted by multiple departments. The fire is under investigation by the State of Wisconsin Fire Marshal's Office, Marquette County Sheriff's Office, Harris Fire Department, and the Marquette County Medical Examiner.
