    Woman arrested after attempting to break into donkey enclosure, hit zoo staff

    MADISON, Wis. -- Madison police arrested a woman after they said she attempted to climb over the donkey enclosure Wednesday afternoon.

    Police said the woman after attempting to enter the donkey enclosure, touched the donkey through a fence, and attempted to take photos.

    MPD said the staff reportedly asked the woman to leave and she allegedly hit zoo staff before continuing to run around the zoo.

    The woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, cited for trespassing and banned from the zoo.
