    Saturday Evening Weather 3

Once Helene fully breaks down, the jet stream will become more active which means more weather systems are able to move through the Midwest. That begins Monday, so what can we expect from our next weather system? Full forecast here.

    WHAT WE'RE TRAC KING :

    • Wind speeds dying down by Sunday
    • Mild through Monday
    • Briefly cooling down Tuesday and Wednesday

PLANNING THE NE X T 2 4 HO URS: Saturday night and Sunday will remain quiet with a few clouds found further southeast, along with breezier conditions as well. Gusts could be up to 30 miles per hour through Sunday morning, then winds will die down as we head further into Sunday afternoon. Patchy fog may be possible Sunday morning though not everyone will likely see fog.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : Once the remains of Helene fully break down, they'll be pushed eastward thanks to a cold front that is expected to move through the Midwest sometime Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday will be briefly cooler before temperatures return back into the 70s to round out the week. Other than a few rain chances late Thursday night into early Friday, minimal to no rain chances are expected throughout next week. By the end of next weekend/start of the following week, a strong low may move through the area and cool down Wisconsin.
