Adults-only campfire night to light up Beloit

BELOIT, Wis. -- Campfires aren't just for kids anymore! Attendees over 18 can enjoy an adults-only night of songs, s'mores, and a sunset on Oct. 12 at the Welty Environmental Center.

At the "Big Hill Park Bonfire," park officials said participants will enjoy a live performance from Pro Pittman, a s'mores bar, Apple Hut cider and cider doughnuts, cocoa, and a large bonfire. Pittman will play campfire favorites and attendee song requests submitted on the online ticket purchase form. Participants are encouraged to bring their own camp chairs and picnic dinner while they enjoy the prairie sunset.

Welty Environmental Center is located at 1201 Big Hill Ct. in Beloit. Parking is available in the upper and lower lots during the bonfire. Tickets are $10 when purchased online in advance, and $15 when purchased on the night of the event.
