Investigation underway after man stabbed by woman at Madison apartment

MADISON, Wis. -- Madison police are investigating after a man reported being stabbed at a downtown apartment Friday night.

The incident was reported at around 10:18 p.m. in the 500 block of East Johnson Street. A man reported that a woman stabbed him after he asked her to move out of his way in a stairwell.

The woman reportedly ran away after the stabbing. The man was taken to a hospital for his injuries. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday afternoon.
