One dead after US-151 crash, all lanes open again

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. -- A 69-year-old man died after being hit by a vehicle on US-151 southbound, north of Reiner Road late Thursday night.

Law enforcement cleared the scene, re-opening the southbound stretch of the highway between Main Street and Reiner Road at 2:20 a.m.

The people in the vehicle were not injured.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate.

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. -- One person died in a traffic incident on US-151 southbound in Sun Prairie.

Officers were dispatched to a portion of US-151 southbound between Main Street and Reiner Road at 10:46 p.m.  That stretch of the highway remains closed.

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. -- All southbound lanes of US-151 from Main Street are shut down due to a traffic incident.

Sun Prairie Police are asking people to avoid the area for the foreseeable future.  They said there is a possible threat to life or property.

Police did not elaborate on the incident.
