Some light rain and warmer temperatures the next few days - Jacob

WHAT WE'RE TRACKING :

• 80s over the weekend
• Small rain chances Friday and Sat. night
• 70s return late next week

PLANNING THE NE X T 24 HOURS: Look for mostly clear skies and cool weather again tonight with lows in the low 50s. Thursday will once again be very similar to the last few days (maybe a few degrees warmer) with highs in the middle 70s and partly sunny skies.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : The high pressure system that has dominated our area will track southeast of Wisconsin by Thursday and Friday, which will turn the winds out of the south and quickly warm the area up. Temperatures climb near the 80 degree mark Friday. As a warm front approaches Friday, we'll have a chance for showers and thunderstorms, mainly west of Madison. Temperatures will warm into the middle 80s as humidity increases this weekend. Another chance of rain will come Saturday night into Sunday. Both instances of possible rainfall the next few days will likely not amount to much and won't last long. After Tuesday of next week, we won't be as warm as temperatures slowly fall back to the 70s by next Friday.
