High pressure settles into the area today
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Good morning NCWV! As we come to the close of another work week we are greeted with higher temperatures and clearing skies as we move on throughout the weekend. We do have a few chances of rainfall in the more mountainous regions throughout the afternoon. Highs today are going to be in the mid to high 80s in the lowlands and the mid 70s in the higher elevations.

W.Va. PSC probe into West Side gas outage seemingly gives pass to water company
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A West Virginia Public Service Commission probe of a water leak that led to a massive natural gas service interruption in Charleston's West Side last November found no indication of a systemic failure by the West Virginia American Water Company.
