Two wounded in Derby stabbing
DERBY, Kan. (KWCH) - Two men were seriously injured in a stabbing early Wednesday in Derby. Derby Police Chief Brandon Russell says around 2:20 a.m. police found two men with stab wounds in the 1400 block of North Nelson after a worker at a nearby business called 911. Both men were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

Phase one of levee project nearing completion
Phase One of the new levee project in Manhattan is 95% complete. When complete the entire project will provide flood risk reduction for more than 10,000 people and save $.28 million for residential and commercial development. City commissioners were informed Tuesday that the levee build completion is estimated to end Sept. 22. The levee is located south of Tuttle Creek reservoir.
