Baltimore reaches record-tying heat at 104 degrees on Tuesday during hottest stretch in 75 years
BALTIMORE - Baltimore's temperatures have been scorching hot over the past three days, reaching triple digits.But, the heat took another jump on Tuesday, hitting 104 degrees, which tied a record set on this date in 1988.This has been the hottest three-day stretch in Baltimore in 75 years.Temperatures hit 101 degrees on Sunday, 102 on Monday and 104 on Wednesday, which all tied records for that particular date.The last time heat exceeded 101 degrees for three straight days was August 26-28, 1948. It has never happened for four straight days.According to the WJZ First Alert Weather Team, temperatures could climb back to 100 degrees on Wednesday.
Port of Baltimore expansion project to add $1.5 billion to Maryland GDP
(WBFF) — An upcoming addition to the Port of Baltimore will generate 8000 new jobs and add $1.5 billion to Maryland's GDP, the groups behind the project said today. Tradepoint Atlantic and Terminal Investment Limited released the results of an economic impact study showing that the Sparrows Point Container Terminal is projected to hit those economic benchmarks by 2035.

Sheepskin Gifts and Alpaca Too has been a seasonal tenant at the mall in recent years, popping up during the holiday shopping season from mid-fall to mid-winter. But the apparel store is making an early return to the mall. Few people are thinking about warm clothing as thermometers reach 100 degrees and higher today, but alpaca wool is known for its ability to wick moisture away from the skin during the summer season.
