    Over $12,000 raised in barbecue fundraiser for West Virginia police officer seriously injured in crash

    CHARLES TOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Over $12,000 was raised in a barbecue fundraiser for a Charles Town police officer seriously injured in a crash.

    According to the Charles Town Police Department, on Saturday, July 27th, a barbecue fundraiser took place in the parking lot of the Bank of Charles Town to support Corporal Kassidy Noble, who was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 81 in Berkeley County, West Virginia.

    The event was a success, raising over $12,000 for Corporal Noble and her family.

    The Charles Town Police Department expressed gratitude to everyone who attended the fundraiser.

    Special thanks were extended to Nathan Ware of The Feedlot LLC and Earl Cogle of the Blue Ridge Mountain Volunteer Fire Company for sponsoring the event.

    Appreciation was also given to the Bank of Charles Town for providing the venue, as well as to Kylie’s Confections, LLC, The Charles Town Farmers Market, and Pizza City for their generous contributions of free and discounted food products.
