From Truck to Table: Mi Lindo Oaxaca Taqueria to Open First Brick-and-Mortar

A well-loved taco truck that currently serves patrons at Mount Pleasant’s Wando Crossing Shopping Center will soon open its first brick-and-mortar eatery.

Known for its authentic Mexican cuisine, Mi Lindo Oaxaca Taqueria is gearing up to welcome diners at 2070 Sam Rittenberg Blvd in Charleston ’s Citadel Mall , as indicated by recent permit filings and confirmed by owner and chef Enmanuel Aragón Cortés .

Cortés draws inspiration from his family’s recipes—particularly those passed down by his mother—to curate a menu brimming with authentic Mexican delights. From timeless favorites like burritos, tacos, taquitos, and tamales to lesser-known gems like the La Tlayuda—a crunchy street food native to Cortés’ home city of Oaxaca—the offerings at Mi Lindo are plentiful.

The new eatery will operate as a small to-go establishment, welcoming patrons Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 12 to 6 p.m. Cortés mentioned that the menu will mirror that of the food truck, with a few additional options for dinner.

If all goes according to plan, the restaurant is poised to open its doors within the next few weeks. Be sure to follow Mi Lindo Oaxaca Taqueria on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this article listed the owner’s name as Mi Lindo Oaxaca Taqueria Enmanuel Aragó Cortés; it is in fact Enmanuel Aragón Cortés.
