Bassmaster Junior Championships on Chickamauga this week
DAYTON, Tenn. — For the second time, Chickamauga Lake welcomes some of the best youth anglers from across the country to compete in the Bassmaster High School National Championship, as well as the Bassmaster Junior National Championship. The Junior Championship will be held July 26-27 before the high schoolers take center stage Aug. 1-3. The City of Dayton will host both events, with daily takeoffs and weigh-ins held at Dayton Boat Dock.
American Bicycle Group CEO Peter Hurley Passes Away
Peter Hurley, CEO of the American Bicycle Group (ABG), has died after suffering a heart attack following a Friday morning run on July 19. He was 67 years old. According to the media report filed by Chattanoogan.com, Hurley had acquired a majority interest in ABG, which he led for 18 years. ABG is the parent company of the Quintana Roo, Litespeed and OBED brands and is based in Chattanooga, TN.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Tennessee Lottery said on Sunday a $2 million Powerball ticket was sold at a grocery store in Knoxville.
