CHARLESTON, WV (WOWK) — This week at the Clay Center is hosting Innovation Tank this week, or ‘Shark Tank’ for kids ages 8 through 10.

Participants have been working since Monday on their own inventions, and on Friday, they will display their creations and present their pitch. The concept is similar to that of the popular show “Shark Tank.”

However, instead of requesting money from the judges, they will be requesting votes, supplied by the parents as well as the employees of the Clay Center.

Some of the inventions include dog collar pouches and glow-in-the-dark clothing for teddy bears.

“My favorite part is really seeing the kids’ creative side,” said Abby Ho, a camp counselor. “I didn’t think at eight and ten years old they would be so creative with all the products they are wanting to do.”
