On July 20, 2024, at approximately 12:15 a.m., Middletown Police attempted to stop an Audi A5 for a registration violation in the area of West Main Street and North Cass Street. A girl, 12, was found shot dead in a targeted attack inside a house in East Baltimore, police have said. Officers launched a search for the suspect after the horrifying murder before arresting a 28-year-old man.
