Charles Lee Reflects On Becoming The New HC Of The Hornets

Tuesday marked the dawn of a new era for Hornets basketball as they officially welcomed longtime assistant HC Charles Lee as the new HC of the Hornets. The new HC took some time shortly after his press conference to talk with Will Palaszczuk about his aspirations now that he is the HC of the Hornets.

Early on in the conversation Charles was asked about what he has learned from jumping from an assistant to a HC he noted how he got to learn first-hand with both Mike Budenholzer and Joe Mazulla along with many other assistants and he learned about keeping the message the same.

Charles also noted to Will that his coaching style is a daily improvement on both ends of the floor and not cutting corners or viewing the improvement as an obligation.

Coach Lee would also discuss how he is trying to grow relationships with players, and what he sees with the current roster.
