    Two dead following north Charlotte incident: MEDIC

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Two people lost their lives Tuesday evening in north Charlotte, according to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency (MEDIC).

    The incident happened just before 6 p.m. in the 4000 block of John Dale Lane. This is in a neighborhood off Gibbon Road and near the Ribbonwalk Nature Preserve.

    It is unclear what led up to the fatal incident; however, officials are referring to this as a homicide after a cardiac arrest call.

    MEDIC did confirm that two people were pronounced dead before they could be taken to a hospital. Queen City News has a crew at the scene.
