Paris Baguette , a fast-growth South Korean bakery-café chain, is set to open a new location in Rea Farms in December 2024 .

The new bakery-café will be situated, at 6525 Providence Farm Ln. #5305, within the “live, work, play” mixed-use development. It will be operated by Franchisee Steve Kim . While Paris Baguette has plans to open as many as 20 locations in the region, it’s unclear how many Kim will bring to Charlotte as the Franchisee did not respond to What Now Charlotte’s request for comment.

Paris Baguette aims to reestablish the neighborhood bakery café as the heart of the community, with a projected goal of opening 1,000 bakery-cafés in the United States by 2030. According to a press release, the chain is dedicated to serving “craveable baked and brewed treats” and creating “warm and welcoming experiences through a blend of gracious service, expert craftsmanship, and community connections.”

“Our mission is to spread joy and make the world a happier place,” the press release states. “Being a neighborhood bakery café means caring about those around us and finding ways to make a real impact. We do so through our ‘Love Baked In’ programs that bring to life our commitment to serving local communities through various charitable programs and initiatives.”

The new Paris Baguette in Rea Farms will offer an array of baked goods, pastries, and beverages, providing a cozy spot for residents and visitors to gather, relax, and enjoy delicious treats.
