    Arrests made across 3 states after man murdered in uptown Charlotte

    CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Several arrests have been made in three separate states in connection to the murder of a man in uptown Charlotte this June, CMPD announced.

    Authorities said the body of Corey Damoan Robinson, 36, was found on Friday, June 14, in the 500 block of North Graham Street after CMPD officers responded for a welfare check.

    On July 2, the case was officially classified as a homicide after ‘further investigation,’ CMPD said.

    On July 10, CMPD announced the arrests of three people who were caught in North Carolina, Nebraska, and Tennessee.

    The three suspects were arrested several days apart. Lasha Lynne Big Eagle, 37, was taken into custody in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on July 2 and charged with obtaining property by false pretense and identity theft.

    Ayyad Faour Sukkar, 24, was arrested in Memphis, Tennessee on July 5 and charged with murder, common law robbery, financial transaction card theft, and larceny of a motor vehicle.

    The third suspect, Tracey Pinnix Sukkar, 50, was located right here in Charlotte, North Carolina on July 9, and charged with obtaining property by false pretense and identity theft.

    Authorities said 10 agencies across the U.S. assisted in these arrests.
