Country music star Morgan Wallen reschedules Charlotte shows citing sickness

CHARLOTTE ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Those in the Charlotte area looking forward to hearing the sweet sound of Morgan Wallen’s voice in person will have to wait several more months.

The country music star’s concerts set for next week in the Queen City have been rescheduled for October, with Wallen citing illness as the main reason.

Wallen took to social media on Friday afternoon, July 12, saying, “I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today. I would not give you guys anywhere near 100%.”

Wallen said Friday’s show in Tampa has been moved to Oct. 4 and his shows for next week in Charlotte have been moved to Oct. 18 and Oct. 19.
