“When you get a chance to meet the people that work on your behalf. That’s what we’re about,” Suffolk Punch Brewing co-owner Seth Stidham said. “We’re about community and just fostering these relationships and just create an environment where people can just get to know each other.”

Several breweries announced that they would participate in “ Craft Brewers For A Cause ” at Suffolk Punch Brewing in South End including Armored Cow, Heist, Hopfly, Lenny Boy, NODA, Percent Tap House, Pilot, Sycamore, Triple C, Traust and many more.

“These kinds of activities give them, the ones that were injured, and the ones that work with them, the ones that survive, the ones that were out there on that scene the ability to come here and have fellowship,” retired CMPD Captain Michelle Hummel said.

The event promises an evening of craft beer, food and live music.

The goal is to raise $50k to help these officers and their families heal and rebuild after the tragic incident.

The event is slated for July 27th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Suffolk Punch Brewing.

Tickets are available for a minimum donation of $40 with all proceeds directly benefiting the injured officers and their families.
