After five years in business, Lost & Found will close on Monday, July 22, the nightclub announced on Instagram . It'll reopen as a "neighborhood bar" in September, owner Orlando Botero tells Axios.

State of play: The new bar will be more "casual" and "sports-focused," says Botero. He plans to reopen in time for football season.

The vibe: The bar will have a feel that's comparable to popular South End bars like Vinyl and Canopy , says Botero.

    • The rebranded bar will have a new name that's yet to be determined. The design of the space will be different, too.
    • The new space will have more seating areas, including on the patio, which will have a permanent bar.
    • There'll be a massive video wall for sports viewing and the addition of a food menu.
    • It'll open at 5pm on weekdays and from noon to 2am on weekends.

What they're saying: "The nightlife industry has changed dramatically over the last 24 months," Botero says. "Everything is leaning more towards the bar atmosphere, so we're just adapting to those trends."

Zoom in: The nightclub and bottle service component of Lost & Found will move into its sister bar, Broken Promises on West Tremont.

What's next: Botero says they're looking to take the Lost & Found brand into other markets, like Raleigh and Charleston.
