South End’s Lost & Found is closing, but all is not lost. Here’s what’s next.

One of the hottest nightlife spots in Charlotte is closing its doors soon — but has plans for a new beginning.

After five years in business, Lost & Found is temporarily closing in South End to “undergo an extensive transformation” and make way for a new concept.

“We have decided to embark on a new adventure and start on a complete rebrand and remodel,” the team announced on Instagram . “We envision a space that will captivate your senses and create unforgettable experiences. Our team of talented designers have been working tirelessly to create an atmosphere that is warm, inviting, vibrant and truly unique.”

The local nightclub near Seoul Food Meat Company, Resident Culture and Slingshot, originally opened back in 2019. Since then, the tiny cocktail lounge — decked out with floral walls and neon lights — has become one of the most popular nightlife bars in the neighborhood. It even has a famous — or infamous – parking lot, thanks to the Charlotte season of “Love is Blind” .

Now, plans are underway to elevate the space with more indoor and outdoor seating, a patio bar with a video wall and more.

Lost and Found will be temporarily closing its doors beginning Monday, July 22 with the new concept opening in September.

But good news! While there’s little time left to party at the South End spot, you’ll still be able to continue the fun at its sister bar Broken Promises — where the team will be moving its nightclub and bottle service offerings too in the meantime.

“We understand that change can be bittersweet, and we want to assure you that our decision to rebrand is rooted in our commitment to providing you with the best possible experience,” the team’s statement said.

“Your unwavering support has allowed us to grow and evolve. We believe that the best is yet to come and we are excited to embark on this exciting new chapter with you.”
