Crews respond to 2-alarm fire at popular NoDa brewery

Crews were called to a two-alarm fire Tuesday night at Heist Brewery in NoDa.

Smoke was coming from the roof when firefighters got to the scene.

A Channel 9 viewer posted a photo of that smoke onto X that shows smoke coming from a vent on the roof.

The fire was controlled in 40 minutes, Charlotte Fire said.

North Davidson Street was closed down to traffic to allow personnel to fight the fire.

There were no injuries reported.

The fire is under investigation.

Heist Brewery posted to Facebook that it was a minor fire.

" Our staff acted very quickly to assist all of our guests out of the building, and no injuries were sustained,” the post stated.

The post said the brewery in NoDa will be temporarily closed.

No additional details have been made available.
