Charlotte has a variety of options for those seeking to keep a halal diet, or for those who are simply interested in dining on halal food every once in a while.
Halal food, or food specially prepared for Muslims to consume under Islamic law, spans a broad range of cuisines.
From kebabs over rice and gyro combos, to Asian, Indian and even fried chicken halal meals, Charlotte has something for everyone when it comes to finding the best halal food. Check out these 15 restaurants that all offer full halal menus or halal dishes in the Charlotte area.
Tucked away inside a specialty grocery store in East Charlotte, you’ll find Cedar Land Halal Foods. Shop for certified halal food inside the grocery store, then make your way back to the restaurant that offers takeout, delivery and even a few tables to dine-in on Middle Eastern cuisine.
Cedar Land is open for all three meals a day and serves halal appetizers, soups, salads, customizable bowls, plates and vegetable combos. You can even find homemade pastries and desserts to finish your meal with something sweet.
