Carolina Panthers rookie are set to report to the team's training camp.

Rookies for the Panthers will report to Bank of America Stadium for training camp on Friday, July 19.

This will be just the second time in nearly 30 years the Panthers did not hold training camp at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The team held training camp in Charlotte in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Veteran players for the Panthers are to report to Charlotte on Saturday, July 20.

Panthers training camp will give rookie wide receiver Xavier Legette a chance to return to the field. During OTAs and minicamp, Legette dealt with nagging injuries and the Panthers played it safe, opting to keep him out of most drills. Training camp marks his first extended opportunity to get on-field repetitions with Bryce Young and the rest of the offense.

Jonathon Brooks, who spent the offseason rehabbing from a torn ACL , will also be cleared to play at some point during training camp.

As the No. 46 overall pick in the 2024 draft, Brooks represents the future of the Panthers offense – built on the ground game.

Theoretically, Brooks can serve as a do-it-all style running back, whose talent will take pressure off Young in the backfield. Training camp will be his first chance to prove he can live up to those assessments.

Then there are the tenured offseason additions: Diontae Johnson, Robert Hunt, Damien Lewis, Jadeveon Clowney, and D. J. Wonnum, among others.

Training camp will give them a chance to get acclimated to the new environment where they may be asked to compete in a different role than they have in previous stops.

The first official practice on the Panthers' training camp schedule is slated for Wednesday, July 24. The first joint practice with the New York Jets is slated for Aug. 15.
