CHARLOTTE, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Former President Donald Trump will visit Charlotte next week for a rally coming off his official nomination at the Republican National Convention .

Trump officials say the campaign stop is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at Bojangles Coliseum. The doors will open at 2 p.m.

Political shift in the Carolinas as GOP surges post RNC, but that’s not the whole story, experts say

Based on his campaign’s press release, he will discuss inflation and border policies under President Joe Biden.

Prior to the RNC in Milwaukee, Trump was the target of an assassination attempt at a rally in western Pennsylvania that damaged his ear.

Trump was last in Charlotte in April for a private fundraiser. He was slated to visit Wilmington that same weekend for an official campaign visit, but weather canceled the appearance.

On the Democratic ticket, Vice President Kamala Harris was in Fayetteville Wednesday to drum up supporters as some within the party question Biden’s candidacy.
