    Union’s Baribo beats Charlotte FC in Leagues Cup match

    CHESTER, PA (AP) — Charlotte FC faced off against Philadelphia Union in a Leagues Cup match Saturday night.

    Union’s Tai Baribo scored the first and only goal of the match following the first of three yellow cards.

    Charlotte FC is coming off two back-to-back draws with Austin (2-2) and Columbus (1-1).

    Patrick Agyemang nets 2 goals, Kristijan Kahlina has 7 saves as Charlotte beats Union 2-0

    Both teams’ last matchup back in June ended in a 2-0 win for FC with FC’s Patrick Agyemang netting 2 goals.

    Charlotte FC is ranked 6th in the Eastern Conference.

    Philadelphia Union is ranked 10th in the Eastern Conference

    Charlotte FC will return home for the next matchup against Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup at 8 p.m.
