    Panthers’ JJ Jansen talks new kickoff rules, playing under fifth head coach in Carolina

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. (CHARLOTTE SPORTS LIVE) — J.J. Jansen is gearing up for his 16 th season as the long snapper in the Queen City.

    The 38-year-old signed a one-year deal in the off-season to continue his streak of being the oldest and longest-tenured player on the roster. When the Panthers named Dave Canales the new head coach, it represented the fifth Jansen would play under in Carolina.
