The Observer is kicking off comprehensive high school football previews for all of the N.C. counties it covers — Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln and Union, along with teams from York and Lancaster counties in upstate South Carolina.

The previews will include breakdowns for all teams, conference predictions and a preseason all-county team. Next is the preview for Lincoln County schools.
