Two Charlotte-area players and three from North Carolina landed on the first ESPN Top 100 national rankings for high school seniors Friday.

Former Myers Park star Sadiq White was ranked No. 15. White, who helped the Mustangs to a 2023 state title, transferred to IMG Academy in Florida. White committed to Syracuse last May. He is a 6-foot-9 power forward.

The next highest-ranked N.C. player was Zymicah “Mikey” Wilkins of Christ School in Arden. Wilkins, ranked No. 54 nationally, helped Christ School beat Providence Day in the NCISAA state championship game in February. Wilkins is not committed to college but has offers from schools like Clemson, Georgia, N.C. State and South Carolina. Wilkins is a 6-8 power forward.

The last N.C. player is Davidson Day’s Isaiah Denis , who is No. 71

Denis, who quickly rose recruiting charts this summer, has offers from schools like California, Clemson, Kansas, N.C. State and Ohio State. He is a 6-3 shooting guard.
