Community mourns the loss of longtime paramedic and wife
SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Sullivan community mourns the loss of two people who lost their lives tragically Saturday afternoon. According to a Facebook post from the Edgar County Sheriff’s Office, emergency crews were working a traffic accident on Illinois Highway 133 just 2 miles west of Redmon.

We are closing in on Purdue Football with just fifty seven days remaining and that means we’ll take a look at redshirt freshman offensive lineman Tom Ewing from Westfield High School in Westfield, Indiana. A teammate of Dillion Thieneman at Westfield, Ewing came to the Boilermakers as a walk-on with some promise to eventually contribute on the field and currently stands 6’2 and 310 pounds.
Limestone Heritage Festival brings talented carvers to Bedford
James Lax worked on a limestone carving in front of the Bedford Depot Friday as part of the Limestone Heritage Festival. Lax, who resides in the Chicago area, attended the Limestone Heritage Festival from 2009-2019, "with a break during the COVID years. It's fun to come down and see old friends and the progress that's happening downtown."
Indiana and Illinois Arby’s Locations Affected by Franchisee Bankruptcy
After filing for bankruptcy, a small Arby's franchisee is selling some locations and closing others. Miracle Restaurant Group LLC, a company based out of Louisiana has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Miracle owns 25 Arby's locations in Indiana, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. This isn't Miracle Restaurant Group's first Chapter 11 filing according to Nation's Restaurant News,

Dog trapped in hot car honks horn to get the police's attention, now adopted
INDIANAPOLIS (WKRC) - A brilliant German Shepherd made his own luck when he notified police that he was stuck in a hot car by repeatedly honking the horn. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a call of a dog left in a hot car. The officers and bystanders knew the dog was trapped and uncomfortable because he was consistently honking the horn of the car. Officers said the vehicle was "in 90 degree heat with no air conditioning and windows barely cracked."
