Storms swept through Hamilton County twice on Thursday: once in the morning and once in the evening. Between those two rounds of rain, Noblesville had the only dry 4th of July parade. Carmel had the wettest parade we have ever seen. Cicero canceled its late-morning parade over public safety concerns. INDIANAPOLIS (WKRC) - A brilliant German Shepherd made his own luck when he notified police that he was stuck in a hot car by repeatedly honking the horn. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a call of a dog left in a hot car. The officers and bystanders knew the dog was trapped and uncomfortable because he was consistently honking the horn of the car. Officers said the vehicle was "in 90 degree heat with no air conditioning and windows barely cracked."
