Headway banks $100M series D round to accelerate expansion into Medicare Advantage and Medicaid
New York City-based Headway built a platform to make it both easier for patients to find a therapist and easier for therapists to accept insurance. The startup has seen rapid growth, now operating in all 50 states and has 34,000 in-network mental health care providers affiliated with more than 40 insurance plans. Trans-Siberian Orchestra and Cactus Stars Launch The Kunes Clark Band
(Chipster) The Kunes Clark Band is singer/songwriter Jimmy Kunes (Cactus, Savoy Brown, Humble Pie) and guitarist/songwriter Angus Clark (Cher, Joe Lynn Turner, Trans-Siberian Orchestra). The two musicians have known each other for nearly two decades and have performed together in numerous projects in and around New York City. Now they decided to take care of some unfinished business and make an album of material, some brand new, and some based on material they demoed 14 years ago. Rounding out the lineup for this album are drummer Van Romaine (Steve Morse Band) and bassist Winston Roye (Soul Asylum), along with keyboardists Rob Clores (The Black Crowes) and John Deley (David Johansen).
10 years of Empire State Ride battling cancer
Hundreds of cyclists made their way through the Capital Region, riding for a good cause to raise money for research to put an end to cancer. The event founder, Terry Bourgeois and friends came out for the 10-year anniversary of Empire State Ride. It is a 500 plus mile trek from New York City to Buffalo.
