EDISON, N.J. (TCN) -- A 37-year-old man faces charges in connection with the stabbing death of a woman whose 16-year-old son found her body. A new restaurant has taken nearly 4,600 square feet at the base of an apartment building in western Hoboken, in a newly announced deal by RIPCO Real Estate. In a news release, the brokerage team said BYRD is now open at 800 Jackson St., noting that it is the sister restaurant of Common Lot in Millburn. The eatery’s 4,585-square-foot space includes outdoor seating and benefits from what RIPCO described as extensive cosmetic renovations, while the operator has secured a liquor license for the business.
